Situated nearly 25 minutes' walk from the attractive Hotel Donatello Florence, guests can visit Piazzale Michelangelo. The 3-star smoke-free hotel is housed in a renovated building with frescoed ceilings as part of its decor.
This Florence hotel in the Florence Historic Centre district of Florence is just 1.1 km from the cathedral-flanked square "Piazza del Duomo" and in the vicinity of such shopping venues as the L-shaped square "Piazza della Signoria". The Donatello Florence gives access to the pedestrianized square "Piazza della Repubblica", which is 16 minutes' walk away. The accommodation has a great location merely 650 metres from the art museum "Galleria dell'Accademia". The hotel is also in proximity to Florence Santa Maria Novella train station, and 15 minutes' driving distance from Peretola airport.
There are 72 rooms equipped with air conditioning along with modern facilities including a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. The rooms also have marble bathrooms. The marble bathrooms come with a hair dryer and a shower cap as well as a bidet, a separate toilet, and shower/tub combinations.
The Donatello serves buffet breakfast in the morning. Guests are welcome to a lounge bar on site. Trattoria Za Za has its own variety of Central-Italian meals and is only 0.6 km away.
